I'm pretty lucky for a campdog. I don't
think any of my sisters have been able to travel as much as me. I really like it
when we go in the car and one of my favourite things is barking at cattle, other
dogs, people, other cars, anything everything and nothing really...... When we
are in a ute the best thing is when I see a japanese person on a bicycle ahead.
I wait until the very last second and then bark really loudly just as we reach
them. They frighten easily and wobble all over the place when I do that. Nick
pretends to be outraged and tells me to "shut up!" but secretly I
think he finds it quite funny so I keep doing it...
Below are a few photos of my life
so far (click on the thumbnails to see a bigger picture)
Nick reckons I was pretty cute
when I was a pup (and I agree with him) My body was almost pure white but after
about 6 months I started getting all my red spots...
I also had a real thing about swags and all Nick's friends dubbed me the
"swag slut" because whenever we went camping and people unrolled their
swags I was on them like a flash. I love the feel of canvas under foot and they
always smell interesting, especially if they've been rolled up with the same
sheets and pillows inside as last year....
As soon as I was on them I'd be asleep in 10 seconds..
In the festive season and on
Public Holidays I like to get in the swing of things
like here on Christmas day 2002:
and 2003's New Years Eve...
Last Christmas (2003) Nick took me
to Numbulwar and forgot to bring my elves hat and I had to make do with a crappy
paper hat you get out of a bon bon and it didn't fit very well:
Oh well, at least I felt like I was in the spirit of things.
Sometimes I try to play the
tambourine...
but don't manage very well...
